Meet the Herbs:
Hawthorne: We have collect fresh red berries in the fall and the leaf and flower in the spring. This herb is traditionally known to support cardiovascular health, circulation and cognitive function. Since it is in the same family as the rose, we believe it also supports emotional aspect of the heart.
Motherwort: Motherwort, our lion hearted plant, is the queen of the jungle evoking courage and strength. This herb is traditionally used to . support the cardiovascular system and to bring joy and sense of calm. Its name, "motherwort" reminds of all the strength and love your mother provides.
Rose: Our rose tincture is comprised of five different damask roses. Damask roses are fragrant and are typically used for making rose water. I included this plant because of its significance emotional aspect to the heart-- to give and receive love. Traditionally, rose petals support the nervous system, heart and the digestive system and promote peace and calm.
Motherwort, Hawthorne and Rose all have thorny parts to them, which from an emotional standpoint is quite telling. They thorns are like our rib cages protecting our heart but sometimes it is actually the thorns that prevent us from truly loving.
Ginger: Ginger is one of my favorite plants because it is so multi-dimensional. Traditionally, it supports the immune, respiratory systems. Ginger is a powerhouse of strength. Our ginger is Peruvian ginger grown on our farm. Its so pungent and mighty.
Turmeric: I called this plant little feet because the actual leaves are 6 feet tall and its roots do not match the height of the plant. We grow this beautiful plant on our farm and smile when we see her orange roots that traditionally are known to support connective tissues, joints and liver function. We added black pepper to the tincture so you can absorb more of the active ingredient, curcumin.
So take this tincture with gratitude, love for yourself, and intent to live a life you envision. Follow your heart.
